GSM GROUP GUIDELINES

To keep this space welcoming and positive for everyone, we follow a few simple guidelines. They're all about respect, kindness, and making sure everyone feels comfortable.

Men Only

This group is for gay men. The aim is to create a space centered on a community that is often overlooked when it comes to connection, support, and belonging. It is not about excluding others, but about making room for gay men to relax, relate, and be fully themselves without outside pressure. We ask everyone to respect this boundary so that the group can remain the welcoming and supportive space it is intended to be.

No Hook-ups

We're here for friendship, support, and connection, not as a dating or hook-up app. Sure, life happens, and connections might naturally form, but this isn't the space to actively seek out dates or casual encounters. Let's focus on creating meaningful interactions.

No Unsolicited Contact

We're all here for a good time, not a stressful one. Don't contact people out of the blue unless you have their consent. If you do reach out, be polite and understanding, no one owes you a reply.

Support Each Other

This group is a safe space for everyone to express themselves and feel heard. Offer kindness and encouragement. Life's tough enough as it is, let's lift each other up while we're here.

Keep Communication Open

Got feedback or concerns? Drop a private message to the organizers. We're here to listen and help make this space the best it can be.

Be Respectful

Words matter, and so does behaviour. Let's keep it welcoming and avoid anything offensive or harmful. Diversity is what makes us strong, let's embrace it with open minds.

Confidentiality is Key

What happens in the group stays in the group. Don't share anyone's personal details or stories without their permission. Trust is the foundation of this community, respect it.

Ask Before Advertising

We get it, sometimes you have something worth sharing. Just run it by the admins first. If it's relevant and useful, we'll gladly support you.

Following these simple guidelines keeps our group the kind of space we all want to be part of. Break the trust here, and we'll unfortunately have to part ways, but we know you won't let it come to that!
